The colors would be stunning on anyone, the Blush is a true blushing peach/rose, and the eyes, are a flecked gold, and glittering olive green. the eye pencil is soft, and sparkling gold. Lips are a light, not too bright pink, and mascara is a rich shiny black. I admit, I was doubtful that the eye pencil would last, it is so soft, but it is so highly pigmented that it did. I do have my doubts about it lasting on a really hot and humid day though. I think it is one for a night out, not for a day at the beach! =)
And the Make-Up Primer, oh the Primer! Might be my favorite, I don’t think I could pick one, but this stuff totally rocks my face off, and my socks. It is silicone free, and softened with jojoba oil, but not too slick. Lets the foundation glide on, but stay put. In a word, marvelous. Marvelous dahling, simply marvelous. Seems to mask ever flaw on my skin, no noticeable pore to be seen, not a wrinkle in site!
The Wild Rose Foundation, I think would match just about any skin tone as well. It seems to be one of the universal colors, like a neutral, cause believe me ladies, I am not an easy match. And it matches me, seemingly flawlessly. It has a great coverage, neither too light nor to heavy, if I need more I can add more, I simply shake, and apply with my fingers. It is also a treatment to help fight hyperpigmentation, and is an SPF of 20!
The Wild Rose Concealer is a brightening concealer, so too light for blemishes, but just for for around the nose, and perfect for covering dark circles under the eyes, and trust that I have those! It has great coverage, and it nice and creamy, and dries and stays around all day a huge plus! I am actually going to order it a step up in the next color.
KORRES products feel so soft and gentle on my skin. Nothing felt scary, or harsh. No ingredients that I could not pronounce. Plus everything has an added benefit. Have you seen the newsletters from Grateful Body that I have been posting? They are so informative, I just can’t help but share. My absolute favorite product that Grateful body sent to me, is their Aphrodities Feast. It is a major whole food wrinkle fighter serum. With Kudzu (yes the crazy vine in the south) that has natural anti-inflammatory properties, and makes skin smooth and supple, as well as Sasafras, by stimulating circulation, draining congestion, resolving toxicosis and reducing eczema, sassafras is a power-packed nutritive botanical for supporting all varieties of complexions. This has left my skin so smooth and soft, and you can add it to any other skin care system you are utilizing now, it is not a moisturizer, although if you are really oily, it may work as they only thing you need. The other item I I love, and it a best seller at Grateful Body is, their Midnight Oil. I have been using this on my cuticles, and my feet, and above the scent, the moisture is just stellar. My cuticles haven’t been peeling like they usually do, and it sinks in so fast, but with leaving moisture behind.

I have been trying out a few products from Sonoma Soap Company and enjoying every moment! Their Lavender Bubble bath is smooth and frothy and full of skin friendly moisturizers. It is dye free, and SLS free, biodegradable and 99.5% natural. I also use this a shower gel when feeling up for it.
I follow my Lavender bubbles with Lavender Reserve Body Lotion. Scented with Lavender and Blue Cedarwood, this scent is dreamy! Coconut oil, sunflower oil, and aloe make this a true pleasure for my skin. It is far from being heavy, and not greasy at all. Paraben and dye free, this is 99.7% natural.
Besides the Lavender scent Sonoma also carries Citrus Medley a citrus will come to life through the pink grapefruit, sweet orange, green tangerine, spearmint, buchu and certified organic extracts. And First Crush a 100% natural aroma of freshly crushed certified organic grape seed, red raspberry and green apple extracts.
I wasn’t able to try out the First Crush, but I am anxious to! I think it sounds original and sensuous. I did try out the Citrus Medley via Shampoo and Conditioner. City Girl Naturals Review and Giveaway
City Girl Naturals was founded my owner and creator, Michaela, several years ago when she was having skin issues. She started mixing, and trying new recipes. Plus researching and studying skin care, nutrition and natural medicine. One she started, she hasn’t been able to stop! When her daughters came along, it was even more reason to find natural alternatives to skin care that is found at department stores and line the shelves of drugstores.

So now we have City Girl Naturals! City Girl Naturals products are made with pure simple ingredients in simple formulations, which is what makes them so good. With the exception of the soaps which must be made ahead of time in order to allow time for curing, products are made to order to ensure a fresh, effective product at the height of it’s beneficial life.

Michaela has broken her products into categories to make it easier to shop for your specific skin type.
Anything listed as Basic, Essential or Hydrating will be in the first category. These products can be used on most skin types and particularly for normal to oily skin. Care must be taken when using hydrating products on oily skin though, which tends to need more cleaning than hydrating.
Moisturizing products are suitable for normal to dry skin. These products tend to contain more humectant properties to aid the skin in attracting and retaining moisture. Ultra rich products and body cremes will be in this category.
Nourishing products are more suited for dry and mature skin. Nourishing products tend to be a bit heavier, so really shouldn’t be used by people with oily or problem skin such as acne. Products in this category include body balms and skin oils.
Therapeutic products are specialty products for particular needs. They will contain specific ingredients to meet a specific need and will be noted as such.
Sugar Scrub
I am soft and silky today! Thanks to City Girl Natural’s Brown Sugar & Vanilla Scrub: An organic brown sugar scrub with nourishing oils and vanilla. Perfect for toes and elbows, but since sugar melts, it is also fantastic for a great mini-manicure! It is a balanced scent with that hint of spice from vanilla but the sweetness of brown sugar.
Her Hydrating Body Mist is delicious! I have been trying out the Lavender/Vanilla scent. I love freshening my hair with it. The scent is soft and sweet, and not overpowering, which allows me to use as much as I want! After a workout, or cleaning the house, it comes in handy to freshen up really quick, with out having to hop in the shower. She has several scents to choose from, Herbal Fresh, Heavenly Citrus, Amber Rose, Floral Delight, Peppermint, and of course the one I use, Lavender Vanilla.
The Hydrating Body Mist is a light refreshing humectant spray. Suitable for all over use, including face. For an extra treat during summer months, keep it in the refrigerator for a nice cool spritz or take it with you for anytime freshening. Peppermint is excellent for tired achy feet or legs, and feels great when sprayed through the hair, when you get hot, or need to perk up! Contains essential oils and plant extracts.

I have really enjoyed trying out this line. Just as I said earlier, it smells like the outdoors, maybe like the first days of spring when the flowers have all started to pop up. Just light and natural.
I have always had problems with using antioxidant serums (vitamin C) on my skin. It usually breaks me out. Finally I have found something that I can use to protect my skin from free radical damage. Seabuckthorn International Review and Giveaway
Seabuckthorn is a very hardy plant which grows well in the Central Plains of North America. Its botanical name is Hippophae Rhamnoides L. which means “bright shining horse.” Seabuckthorn contains 194 known nutritional compounds in the seeds, fruit and leaves. While each of these compounds is effective on its own, it is their synergies which make Seabuckthorn such a powerful nutraceutical. Seabuckthorn berries can stay on the branches throughout the winter providing nourishment for birds and small animals.

I have noticed a dramatic decrease in body breakouts since I have been using the bar, and also noticed a decrease of sensitivity in Craig’s skin since using.
I have been taking the SBT Capsules for a couple of months now. Because I use so many skin products to try and help my facial acne, it is hard to say if this is the one supplement has done the deed, or if it has been a combination. I can say that my skin does not seem nearly as dry as it normally is. I do know one thing, my lips are usually so dry (lip balm addict) and this is the first time I can remember not putting it on, first thing in the morning and last thing I do at night.
