The Gaiam Yoga Club Review
Chances are you have heard of Gaiam before? Either their vast knowledge base website or their products? Well for the last few days i have been utilizing their Yoga Club.
The Gaiam Yoga Club is a revolutionary way to do yoga right at home on your laptop. Developed by world-renowned instructors Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman, this online yoga program features daily videos and customizable content that show you how to personalize your yoga practice for greater flexibility, improved core strength, increased energy, enhanced focus and overall well-being. Additionally the site features Q&A with Rodney and Colleen, as well as supporting content and member community features.
Since it’s customizable, it’s a fit for people at any level, from the beginner who doesn’t want to feel embarrassed at the local studio to the regular practitioner who wants to perfect their poses – something there’s really not time for at standard studio classes. Also its great for busy professionals or parents who only have a cherished few minutes to work out but want to break a good sweat and find some inner peace.
The The Gaiam Yoga Club walks us through the basics like standing poses to more of the indepth yoga poses with still keeping a balance on the beginner.
- Self-paced 12-week program appropriate for all skill levels
- Nine hour-long online videos that guide you step by step through 75 poses
- 63 downloadable yoga and meditation audiocasts for yoga club members
- Connect with Rodney and Colleen through exclusive community chats and inspiring blogs
- Talk with members of our conscious yoga community through message boards and your own personal blog
Ah, I have had so many desk jobs that this would have been perfect for. Shut my office door and get a chance to stretch and breathe! Since I still consider myself a beginner at yoga, I can attest it is workable for a novice. I think for anyone that is past the beginners stage just taking each pose deeper would be enough to keep them satisfied. I am not sure I would replace my DVD’s or even classed (if i took them) with the Gaiam Yoga Club, but I do highly suggest it for those of you on the run all the time. If you take your laptop on business trips, family vacations etc. It does ask for you to have a couple pieces of equipment but those are all easily substituted. A Yoga Mat, Blankets, Blocks etc.
You can try it for free for 5 daysor you can start a $5 a week membership! And don’t forget, buy it as an online gift if you get stuck thinking up something for someone!
