EcoTOOLS Review and Giveaway (Closed)
I love Alicia Silverstone. I always have ever since her appearance in the “Crazy” video for Aerosmith. Then just got extra cool points when she starred in Clueless. Hilarious.
Now she is a super green girl with being vegan and always lending her self to eco-friendly companies and campaigns. Her latest is being a brand ambassador for a new line of items from EcoTOOLS! The actress, known for her animal-rights and environmental activism, is partnering with EcoTools to unleash a line of eco- and wallet-friendly cosmetics brushes and totes.
Made with natural hemp materials and lined with recycled PET plus they are really cute and extremely practical not to mention affordable!
The limited-edition collection, which will be available from December through 2010 at mass-market retailers like Walgreens, Amazon & Target, features a printed bouquet of Silverstone’s favorite flowers (lavender, rose, chrysanthemum, thyme), along with hangtags printed on tree-free stone paper.

I think they are all pretty terrific, but my absolute favorite is the Overnight Bag. It is so practical! I have one made by Mary Kay but it is almost too big, and it has been to the ends of the earth and back and then some, so it needed replaced. The only thing missing is a hook it’s hangable in hotels. Short on counter space in nearly all of them!
It has 2 PET bags on one side and 1 large PET bag on the other. Keeps anything liquid from spilling all over everything, including the clothes in your bag.
I have also been using the cosmetics bag in my purse. I have a pretty large handbag, and this allows me to keep a little organized. I like them because they are not only pretty, but completely eco-friendly. Plus I can tell friends and family (and YOU!) to go get your own because they are so affordable! Starting at just $8.99 and ending at under $20! You really can’t beat that, plus they seem to be very well made.

ecoTOOLS Bath and Body Line Review and Giveaway
Last month I told you about ecoTools new Bath and Body line. Well now I am here to tell you even more!
The entire Bath and Body line from ecoTools is 98% Natural, paraben, phthalate and cruelty free. Comes in a recyclable bottle, biodegradable ingredients, plus all the products have been dermatologist, allergy and clinically tested. They really did their homework!
I have become a pretty avid bar soap crazed girl. Haven’t been using many gels or shower creams at all. Occasional for reviews, but I always end up swamping back to the trusty, hand-crafted, old-school soap bars. Well I may be gel’in a little more often. Clean Skin Cleaner World ($7.99) is soft and smooth, has a great lather, and washes off really clean. I don’t like when I feel like I still have a cleanser on after I shower. Yet does leave a bit of moisture too, wish it great.
After sudsing up with Cleaner Skin Cleaner World, I was able to soften up with Sustainable Softness ($3.99). Made with nourishing Shea Butter, aloe, sunflower seed oil and jojoba seed oil this “lotion” actually works more like a cream. It absorbs into the skins very quickly, yet leaves a great barrier of protection. I think it will be great on dry skin in the winter time.
Last in what I reviewed is the Blooming Planet Fresh Floral Body Spray ($7.99). This was a disappointment. All the products have fragrance to them, but they actually smell, light and a bit tropical. This is just far to floral for my nose. I know plenty of ladies who like florals, I am just not one of them. I am unsure as to why they just didn’t stick with the same fragrance for the whole line. If you are a floral scent person, you will probably like it. It isn’t that the floral it’s self is bad, I have always had headache issues with them.
The rest of the line consists of Love Heels All (intensive heel cream $7.99), One Hand Helps Others (intensive hand cream $7.99), Replenish Your Natural Resources (body butter).
They also have three extremely cute gift sets: ALL FOUR THE CAUSE hand & foot care set , GREEN, CLEAN, GO travel set ($9.99) and a BE GREEN, LIVE CLEAN body care set ($14.99). The entire line is available at Walgreen stores nationwide, and at their incredible prices, who wouldn’t pick some up!?
