EcoTOOLS Review and Giveaway (Closed)
I love Alicia Silverstone. I always have ever since her appearance in the “Crazy” video for Aerosmith. Then just got extra cool points when she starred in Clueless. Hilarious.
Now she is a super green girl with being vegan and always lending her self to eco-friendly companies and campaigns. Her latest is being a brand ambassador for a new line of items from EcoTOOLS! I think they are all pretty terrific, but my absolute favorite is the Overnight Bag. It is so practical! I have one made by Mary Kay but it is almost too big, and it has been to the ends of the earth and back and then some, so it needed replaced. The only thing missing is a hook it’s hangable in hotels. Short on counter space in nearly all of them!
It has 2 PET bags on one side and 1 large PET bag on the other. Keeps anything liquid from spilling all over everything, including the clothes in your bag.
I have also been using the cosmetics bag in my purse. I have a pretty large handbag, and this allows me to keep a little organized. Destination Dinners! Review and Giveaway (Closed)
My Destination Dinner is for sure in my top 5 of unique reviews and items I would purchase again. We had a blast and we didn’t even drink any of the recommended Red Stripe!
Let me explain just what Destination Dinners is, and what they do:

No more copying from the box! Everything is perfectly portioned, and all fantastic quality.
Another incredible feat that Destination Dinners has created is making most of their Dinner Kits- eco-friendly! Pressed Balsa Wood, Bamboo and other small factors that all make a big impact on our planet!
Destination Dinners also carries Gift kits. These would make great hostess gifts, wedding gifts etc. Each comes with a Recipe Kit, plus a unique gift, such as a bamboo cutting board, Thai Rice Bowl, etc. Everything is classy, put together, easy to follow and downright a novel idea!
Craig and I used our kit the day after Thanksgiving. We finished our leftovers for lunch. (boo hoo) and prepared the BOSTON BEACH, JAMAICA which included Jerk Chicken & Shrimp BBQ a Slow Grilled Caribbean Dish.
We actually grill out a lot so this was perfect. And it included woodchips for just the right smoky flavor punch. Now Craig isn’t a big veggie fan, so no veggies were grilled. (or bought, lol) so I ahem, made a can of corn on the side for me.

Delicious I tell you. Although after looking at the picture, I have a hankering for Sweet Potatoes. That is usually the dish I make for Thanksgiving, but this year there were only 3 of us (compared to the normal 40-60) and I was the only one that would have ate them. =)

Ecorations Review and Giveaway
I know that I am not the only person to cringe as I see trash bag after trash bag get filled with ripped wrapping paper every holiday season. I do like to use the bags, but even those don’t last more then a couple rounds. (typically)

Not very camera friendly space or weather. But she loved the purse and the gift bag!
There were 4 kids in our house growing up, and my family has always spoiled us at Christmas. one year my mom decided it would be easier to wrap everything, then place in large decorated leaf bags. Each with the individual kids name on them. I think these bags would make that really special. Especially the Organic Santa bags. You can have them personalized! Could be like the child’s stocking every year. I can see it now, unwrapped presents spilling out of the top it it. It is huge too! 22 ¾ inches tall and 13 ½ inches in diameter!
Ecorations™ was formed in May 2008 by Kathy de Jong and Debora Owens, but it’s conception stems from Kathy’s marriage and first Christmas with her new mother-in-law in 2000. A native of the Netherlands, Mrs. de Jong presented Kathy with her first gift – in a well-used, yet cherished, natural burlap tote with Santa screen printed on the front. Mrs. de Jong explained in her Dutch accent that these bags had been in the family for years, and she “needed it back”. She said with a chuckle, “you’ll see it again next year!”.

I was sent a super cool Recycled Fish Feed Sack Yoga Bag. Washable and water resistant this bag is durable, and chic! And now you try and tell me your kids wouldn’t want to get cleaned up by soap with a dancing dingo, with a pink tutu? Lucky for us adults, Dancing Dingo carries more then kids soaps, but every toiletry us ladies covet, stuff for men, pets, and even babies!
Most of their products are Vegan, but all of them are cruelty free. Plus they are all paraben and sulphate free!
Dancing Dingo believes that offering naturally-good-for-you body products makes naturally happy, healthy people! And at this stage of the game? There really is no reason to settle for anything less!
They offer a wide range of natural and earth friendly products for every member of the family. For the natural baby Dancing Dingo offers their Dingo Baby line of gentle and skin-friendly essentials. They also offer a line of grooming products for your best friend called Dog De-funkifier. Plus they donate a portion all sales of their Dog De-Funkifier to the Animal Trustees of Austin.
Dancing Dingo is approved by Leaping Bunny and PETA. Plus they are eco-friendly, by recycling and using minimal and biodegradable materials (wherever possible) in all packaging. Dancing Dingo even won the, 2008 Green With ENVY Award as one of Texas Top 30 Eco-friendly companies.
Once I stumbled upon Dancing Dingo, I knew I had to write about them here. I fell in love with comfy site, and all the products that you can see are made with love. And frankly, anyone with dogs as mascots and spokespeople dogs, are always at the head of my list!
Dancing Dingo sent me a few items to sample and review for you here on Prissy Green. I have always been a huge Sandalwood fan, but it can be pretty pricey to purchase and bottle for home use, so I always rely on a “master” to do the mixing for me. I didn’t go wrong with choosing the Sandalwood Vanilla Coconut Kukui Skin Conditioning Spray. The scent is simply stunning. I promise it will stop any man in their tracks. And the oil itself is so moisturizing but because they use fractionated coconut oil, it is light, and almost a dry oil. Not greasy. I pair this with my Cocoa and Shea Hand and Body Lotion, in Sandalwood Lavender, and smell fresh all day!
I only use the Coconut & Kukui oil in my driest spots, elbows, ankles, feet and back, so it promises to last me a long time! The ingredients? Fractionated Coconut oil and Kukui oil. that is it! Plus the essential oils to make the scent of your choice!
I am so glad I have two products that have the gorgeous Sandalwood Lavender Scent, because there are times with an oil spray doesn’t work. And that is when their Cocoa & Shea Hand and Body Lotion cames in “handy.” I love to keep this by the bed, so I can rub it into my hands and feet before bed. Although the lotion can take dry skin out, it isn’t greasy, and tends to sink it rather quickly, so it would be great for those of us that type all day!
My new go to lip care of late is Dancing Dingo’s Botanical Lip Treatment in Lavender Ylang Ylang. One touch of this, and your dry lips are history! Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, jojoba oil, Rosehip oil and bees wax this is certainly a luxury item with out the price tag for your lips. I have even been putting it around my cuticles when they seem to get dry. The texture is smooth and silky.
Lastly, I was also sent their moisturizing Neroli Hydrosol. Neroli, also known as Orange Blossom, is one of the most versatile hydrosols available. Neroli is astringent making it useful for oily and acne prone skin types. Neroli Hydrosol is wonderful as a facial toner, fragrant body splash, and facial moisturizer to spritz on throughout the day. I enjoy this just after I finish my makeup, seems to set it, and yet also keep my mineral makeup from getting to dry. I am also guilty of using it after I shower, and before I have applied anythng else!
Dancing Dingo also carries perfume misters, shampoo & conditioner, all your facial care needs and even men’s shaving needs! Plus an endless supply of hand crafted soaps, and I promise, there is a scent to please any nose!
