Holly Yashi Jewelry Review and Giveaway

This is by FAR my most favorite review EVER! And I promise it will be hard to top.  And ya’ll know I am reviewing and giving away a SUPER SWEET VACUUM!

Holly Yashi jewelry is simply magnificent.  Beautifully crafted and just exquisite.  Made with re-purposed stones, and metals.  Each piece is hand-crafted, welded joints, and colors are all speaking a marvelous language through their art.

Holly is the jewelry designer, and Yashi is the co-founder and CEO.  When you combine the two, it equals magic.  yes, it truly is that beautiful.  I am completely unaware of how I got on their mailing list, maybe it was just destined.  I received an email one day, and thinking Holly Yashi was a person, I opened it and discovered these beautiful treasures.

So let me show you some of my new favorite jewelry pieces!

The picture simply doesn’t not do these precious jewels justice.  I was stopped at least 5 times in one night when I had these on.  And it was not just a quick, “i like your earrings.”  It was full on stopped, starring and gushing.  And of course begging for me to tell them where I got them.  I started to feel like a star!

I was stopped while wearing this Mirabella Bracelet by two jewelry designers that just had to know who designed it, and had to touch it and I even let one try it on!  I thought she might run away with it!  yes, that is how beautifully crafted Holly Yashi jewelry is.  The colors of the metal are amazing!

This pic def doesn’t do this justice.  It has a swirly, blue and green, and near purple cast, that is almost pearlescent. and this is just the pendant for the necklace, the earrings are on a hook and are nearly the same size.

While I was on the Holly Yashi website tonight, I was drooling over everything.  I want one of everything, especially the Bohemian Chic Collection.  And the Inspired By Nature. They even have Wedding Jewelry.  Who needs diamonds when you can stun with this?

Umm, don’t you just want to be her friend? She is one of the nicest people I have worked with since starting Prissy Green. 100% dedication and devotion, and love is put into each of her products. And what FINE products they are! First the soaps are SO pretty you don’t even want to use them! But when you realize how nourishing they are to your body and soul, you can’t resist!

I was able to try out a few Celestial Farms products. Her White Light Lotion, Eve’s Garden Soap and Zen for men handwash. White light has this stunning scent, exotic coconut, bergamont, and tiny bit of cedarwood have me using it at every opportunity I get! And don’t forget it is charged with a real crystal. And yes, there is a crystal floating around in there! it’s rich moisturizers of Aloe, coconut oil and Grapeseed Oil help this to drench the skin in light, perfect for summer moisture.

The Eve’s Garden soap is truly one of the most moisturizing soaps I have used, up there with goats milk soaps. It lathers up so easily and is rich and creamy, makes the bath time a real experience. Add in the jasmine, green apple and lily of the valley and you have a huge hit!

And lastly the Zen for Men. Since it is for men, I put this in Craig’s bathroom, aka the spare bathroom. But, I secretly use it all the time! I just love the scent. Green Tea, mandarin orange and lemon verbena awaken your nose and mind! Charged with an aventurine crystal helps you live in the now. (i just love the crystals!) it truly doesn’t dry out my hands, but yet gets all the dirt, including under the nails with little effort.

FLOR Review and Giveaway

If you look at any blog around the blogosphere chances are you have seen a FLOR review or two. They are very happy to work with Blogs to help them spread the word! And I admit, us bloggers are pretty happy to get some tasteful decor for our homes too!

Okay so why is this machine green you might ask? well most machines seem to come bagless anymore, so that is a HUGE bonus. Simply empty out and you have saved the landfill a bag. But most also have replaceable filters. My last vacuum had great cleaning potential, but I had the replace the HEPA filter every month! They are like $30! (even on ebay, and anywhere online) Some suction would be lost when it wasn’t replaced and well, $30×12 is too much freakin money!

So at 11am it arrives and I am all of a sudden full of energy! I put it all together in about 1 minute, then got to cleaning. We have really think carpet in our bedroom and in the spare bedrooms, dog hair sticks to it like crazy. And no matter what, the carpet just doesn’t get any softer. I took this baby across that floor in the bedroom and it was filled to the brim with carpet fibers that we had never been able to get up before, and of course dust and dog hair. I might mention that Craig and I both brought vacuums to this house, and neither worked very well on that carpet. So happy this puppy does!

Next I tackled the living room. It has this nifty light that tells you if that carpet is dirty or clean. On the high traffic areas, it started out dirty but with a few passes (some areas a lot of passes) it came out with the green clean light! YAY! It is really easy to manuever, and simple as pie to dump the dirt in the trash, basically just press a button, just make sure it doesn’t get too full or you do have to use your hands to pull it out.

I also love that the height adjustment is near the power switch, I am able to change heights for bare floors, rugs, and different carpet so effortlessly.

So do you remember the info above? 6 year warranty? No loss of suction? Lifetime washable filter? FINALLY! and it is more affordable then those $600 vacuums. This isn’t inexpensive but it will have that beautiful 6 year warranty! My vacuums usually only last a year or maybe at most 2, that in itself makes this a green machine!
