If you haven’t tried Carol’s Daughter yet, I must tell you, that you are certainly missing out on one heck of a body retreat! The scent, the moisture, the scrumptiousness! (i am told that isn’t a word, but I am adding it to my personal dictionary!)

here is a personal note from Carol’s Daughter: Aka Lisa PriceLisa
My name is Lisa Price, and I am Carole’s Daughter

My mom’s name was Carol and I named my company Carol’s Daughter because it all started with being my mother’s child and how she, my father, and my family made me who and what I am today.

Being Carol’s daughter and Marguerite’s granddaughter meant that my life was filled with recipes. Marguerite, affectionately known as Nana, had a recipe for everything.
Hot lemonade for a sore throat, Orange Peel Tea for an upset stomach or warm ginger ale for digestion. These recipes remedies never took the place of traditional medicine but they were usually our family’s first course of action.

Another constant from my childhood is my love for fragrance. I remember falling in love with the scent of roses in Nana’s yard, the smell of my mommy’s face cream on her cheeks, my daddy’s spicy cologne, and the most fragrant room in the house – the kitchen. Everything from the sweet smell of cinnamon and coconut to the warm scent of simmering curry emanated from everyone’s favorite space. It all happened in the kitchen.

In addition to the delicious recipes that Nana made for us to eat, she was also known for her wonderful hair pomade. Her secret recipe delivered great results, was a staple in our family and was also used by neighbors and friends. All of this history led me into my kitchen, many years later, to create. From the beginning, my creations started with a beautiful fragrance and the best ingredients, before evolving into product. Nana too was very particular about her ingredients. She only wanted the best for her family. I bring this same approach to Carol’s Daughter.

Goodness from goodness. Thank you for the opportunity to share my passion for beautiful, well-made products with you. I trust you will enjoy the recipes I have prepared: as always, brought to you in kindness and made with love. Peace and blessings.

Love,

Lisa

Almond Cookie Collection

Almond Cookie Collection

I have been sampling a few treats and I can’t get over the fact that I wasn’t using anything by her before! from all I have tried i haven’t been disappointed at all.
My favorite? yeah, umm, about that. I can’t make up my mind. Sorry. Trust me, when you start sniffing and moisturizing you will understand! Now I can say that so far my favorite scent is the Almond Cookie.
Let’s see, the Almond Cookie Body Butter, Body Lotion, Bath and Body Oil, Body Cleansing Gel and the Eau deu Toilette. I have been using them all, not at the same time, but a couple at a time. Every time I do, Craig is one happy dude. He loves the scent, says it smells a little like baby powder or lotion. It definitely has that sweet side, but it also has a sexy seductive scent. I can’t quite place it, but I feel so good when I have it on. I can layer just the body cleansing gel and butter or lotion, and smell like it for a full day! It isn’t overwhelming, it is really just quite right.

I really can’t tell you how much I love the shower gel and body butter. The gel leaves the skin scented, and moisturized and clean, and the body butter is thick and rich, more like a salve. Perfect for knees and elbows, and of course dried out summer feet!

I am really thrilled with the Toilette, most of the time when something is made into a perfume, it ruins the smell, the alcohol just takes over, but this stays true to form. The Almond Cookie scent, doesn’t smell like something you would find at a typical bath and body store. It is more refined, doesn’t smell like a cookie at all. Much more sophisticated then that.

I also have been using their some of her hair products. At first I was hesitant, as they seemed to be formulated more for ethnic hair then my straight, white girl locks. But don’t let that scare you off! I will never ever ever, be with out her Tui Leave-in Conditioner. It acts as a leave-in and detangler.  Oh and the scent.  I can use this as hair refresher, too as the scent is so refreshing and energizing.  The Tui Shampoo is fantastic too. Leaves hair clean, and not one but stripped.

I have also been using Lisa’s hair Elixir.  wow. The aging process causes hair to be weaker, thinner and less manageable. Lisa’s Hair Elixir helps regain your hair’s natural youthfulness and beauty. Formulated with beneficial ingredients of Sage, Peppermint and Rosemary essential oils this scalp treatment and hair oil prevent breakage, condition the hair and combat dry scalp providing the necessary environment for healthy hair growth.

Okay, I have a lot of products to share with you from Carol’s Daughter!  Are you sure you are ready?

There will be .  and I have randomly put Four sets together, the scents don’t match, but I promise you won’t be mad.  =)  All four sets are worth about $40.

Now that is one heck of a prize pack!  So to enter head over to Carol’s Daughter and pick out a product and scent you would like to try, and come back here and tell me WHY!
