Revolution Organics Review and Giveaway
Revolution Organics, a 1 year old USDA Certified Organic skin/body line fresh out of Canada is a new favorite of mine. Especially their “Glow”.
“We really wanted to make our products look chic while still maintaining the highest level of organic integrity” says Co-Founder, Melissa Shabinsky. All plastic containers are recyclable and the packaging is made from post consumer recycled content. The other founder is Alexandra Zanella. Since their launch, Revolution has been featured in countless magazines and labeled as a new fave by many celebrities!
All Revolution Organics products are created without chemicals, sulfates, artificial ingredients, synthetics, parabens and animal testing.
The two founders describe how and why Revolution Organics was started:

I was sent the entire line of Revolution Organics to review. Now I could have reviewed every last piece, but I stopped myself from being stingy. Even though it was hard, this line is pretty spectacular.
My first love affair is with the Freedom GLOW Beauty Balm

I have been using the Bronze constantly, but I really want to try the Blushed too! I think that is a great and fashionable color for this fall.
I have also been using the heck out of my new Freedom Lip Gloss
I have been using Freedom and Golden Rose. Freedom is definitely the color for nights out, and feeling really girly and chic, and Golden Rose is a beautiful every day color. These glosses have no plastic taste, they are not sticky at all, and last a lot longer, with more color pigment then the typical gloss. Plus it adds a great moisturizing barrier to protect against the new cold winds swirling about outside.

I had a good friend try this set out for us here at Prissy Green. I admit, I am a little jealous, as she loves the kit, and plans on purchasing more products from skyn Iceland, but my Carley’s treatment comes first for a little while! This is what she reported back to me:
The cleanser cleans so well but does not strip the skin. The minty smell is refreshing. I have dark circles and bags under my eyes, and the eye cream really helps. A little goes a long way…just a small bit. The moisturizer dries quickly after applied and may tingle a little bit.
The cleanser is formulated with Oats proteins as well as willow bark, Oats to heal and sooth, and willow bark to deep clean pores and exfoliate.
The Moisturizer with fatty acids, aloe and willow bark. Replenish, heal and exfoliate.
The eye cream with Vitamin K to promote circulation for dark circles and puffiness, and cotton powder for an optical diffuser.
skyn Iceland also sent me these amazing Glacial Cleansing Cloths. This cloths are unique as they actually foam and cleanse all traces of makeup, no water required for rinsing or foaming.
They have done a great job cleansing my skin on nights when I wasn’t feeling so hot. Usually due to a migraine. All mascara even!

Fraiche Review and Giveaway
Fraiche is a woman founded and ran company out of Texas that formulates, creates and sells natural soaps and Swizzles. Their aptly named Swizzles are what some of refer to as bath bombs, and bath fizzles.
Fraiche was kind enough to reach out to me, and ask me to review a few items for you on Prissy Green. Well being the beauty addict I am, I checked the site, gave it the proper ingredient check, and agreed!
Fraiche sent me a Soap and Swizzle of the scent Sooth Me. And what a great name. Some might recognize the scent as Milk and Honey. Light, and pleasing to even a discerning nose. I also like this Swizzle because it doesn’t seem to have any added color, that would make my bath water neon!
I also tested this out in the Soothe Me Soap. YUM! Formulated with Oatmeal, a natural exfoliant, softens your skin and soothes your senses. Rich and moisturizing with goat’s milk and honey, this calming soap is great for all skin types, and it’s perfect for both sensitive and mature skin.
The Ingredients should make you happy too!
INGREDIENTS: Goat’s Milk, Honey, Organic Oatmeal, Certified Organic Olive Oil, Certified Organic Coconut Oil, Certified Organic Palm Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Organic Palm Kernel Oil, Certified Organic Cocoa Butter, Certified Organic Oats
I also sampled Fraiche’s Spa Splash Soap. Created with White Tea and Ginger Root, the soap is super creamy, and luxurious. They have found a way to make their soaps really stand out by design too. The scent is light, but full of depth. A perfect treat for dry winter skin, or mature skin.
I also used a Hibiscus Bath Swizzle. I have used some bath bombs, that fizzled, scented, and that was where the buck stopped. This Fraiche Swizzle doses your skin with the perfect amount of fizz, scent and Moisture! I like everything about this swizzle, but the added color. I am just not a fan of coloring if doesn’t need to be there. Of course for these it is there for the art of the soaps and swizzles, and by golly they are nice to look at!

Intelligent Nutrients sent me an overwhelming amount of products to review. And trust me that is not a complaint from me! I chose not to review the Anti-Aging Cleanser and Moisturizer myself, as I was worried about break outs. I did however find some other goodies my skin liked!
(and a small word about the Anti-aging Cleanser and Moisturizer? They found a great home with a friend of mine, and the day after she got them from me, she called me on her way to work to tell me how just after two uses her face looked and felt better. that is FAST!)
I love toners that come as a spray. When I received my new Anti-Aging Mist, I was excited to try it, I don’t like toners that strip my skin. I had just started on the Carley’s Clear and Smooth and my face was a little tight. I now apply this mist before applying my day and night moisturizers. I really love the way my skin feels, after a couple sprays my skin feels relaxed, and healthy.
Refresh and revitalize skin while lightly moisturizing and helping to renew cells using this lightweight toning mist. Suitable for all skin types including mature, dry, sensitive and oily skin. The USDA Certified Organic spray nourishes with the Intellimune Seed Meal and Seed Oil Complex that helps skin retain water and inhibits the loss of collagen while strengthening with a pure blend of antioxidant and omega fatty acid-rich ingredients. The first product I tried from the Head Organics line was their Leave-In Conditioning Spray. Leaves my hair soft and silky, not waxy. Huge points there. I do have to be careful not to use too much, but I think that is with all leave-ins. I tend to want them to work like an anti-frizz product, but they aren’t! Definitely my favorite of the line!
And it has a really really light scent. No overpowering what scent I choose to wear for the day! And it doesn’t change the color of my hair like some leave-ins. It does all of this by utilizing plant based glycerin, and soy proteins.
Oh, one last thing I was impressed with? No cap! It has a cool locking mechanism, so you can seal it, making it perfect for travel, the pool etc. No more lost caps! The Leave-In Retails for only $13.50.
Next I gave their 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner a shot. I can never find a 2-1 that actually cleans, or 
actually conditions. It is usually too much of one, and not enough of the other. This isa gentle cleanse, so you might need a couple tries if you had a BIG hair night the night before. But it is perfect my hair. Nice boost of conditioner, and if my hair feels dry, I use a couple sprays of the leave-in. Perfect for travel this past weekend. Everyone could use it! Most women are going to need a little more moisture, at least at their ends, so do keep that in mind.I don’t remember how large my bottle is, and Craig is asleep, so I can’t go peek, but it is a nice sized bottle, and only $16.50. I would attempt to say, 16 oz?

And now you try and tell me your kids wouldn’t want to get cleaned up by soap with a dancing dingo, with a pink tutu? Lucky for us adults, Dancing Dingo carries more then kids soaps, but every toiletry us ladies covet, stuff for men, pets, and even babies!
Most of their products are Vegan, but all of them are cruelty free. Plus they are all paraben and sulphate free!
Dancing Dingo believes that offering naturally-good-for-you body products makes naturally happy, healthy people! And at this stage of the game? There really is no reason to settle for anything less!
They offer a wide range of natural and earth friendly products for every member of the family. For the natural baby Dancing Dingo offers their Dingo Baby line of gentle and skin-friendly essentials. They also offer a line of grooming products for your best friend called Dog De-funkifier. Plus they donate a portion all sales of their Dog De-Funkifier to the Animal Trustees of Austin.

Once I stumbled upon Dancing Dingo, I knew I had to write about them here. I fell in love with comfy site, and all the products that you can see are made with love. And frankly, anyone with dogs as mascots and spokespeople dogs, are always at the head of my list!
Dancing Dingo sent me a few items to sample and review for you here on Prissy Green. I have always been a huge Sandalwood fan, but it can be pretty pricey to purchase and bottle for home use, so I always rely on a “master” to do the mixing for me. I didn’t go wrong with choosing the Sandalwood Vanilla Coconut Kukui Skin Conditioning Spray. The scent is simply stunning. I promise it will stop any man in their tracks. And the oil itself is so moisturizing but because they use fractionated coconut oil, it is light, and almost a dry oil. Not greasy. I pair this with my Cocoa and Shea Hand and Body Lotion, in Sandalwood Lavender, and smell fresh all day!
I only use the Coconut & Kukui oil in my driest spots, elbows, ankles, feet and back, so it promises to last me a long time! The ingredients? Fractionated Coconut oil and Kukui oil. that is it! Plus the essential oils to make the scent of your choice!
I am so glad I have two products that have the gorgeous Sandalwood Lavender Scent, because there are times with an oil spray doesn’t work. And that is when their Cocoa & Shea Hand and Body Lotion cames in “handy.” I love to keep this by the bed, so I can rub it into my hands and feet before bed. Although the lotion can take dry skin out, it isn’t greasy, and tends to sink it rather quickly, so it would be great for those of us that type all day!
My new go to lip care of late is Dancing Dingo’s Botanical Lip Treatment in Lavender Ylang Ylang. One touch of this, and your dry lips are history! Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, jojoba oil, Rosehip oil and bees wax this is certainly a luxury item with out the price tag for your lips. I have even been putting it around my cuticles when they seem to get dry. The texture is smooth and silky.
Lastly, I was also sent their moisturizing Neroli Hydrosol. Neroli, also known as Orange Blossom, is one of the most versatile hydrosols available. Neroli is astringent making it useful for oily and acne prone skin types. Neroli Hydrosol is wonderful as a facial toner, fragrant body splash, and facial moisturizer to spritz on throughout the day. I enjoy this just after I finish my makeup, seems to set it, and yet also keep my mineral makeup from getting to dry. I am also guilty of using it after I shower, and before I have applied anythng else!
Dancing Dingo also carries perfume misters, shampoo & conditioner, all your facial care needs and even men’s shaving needs! Plus an endless supply of hand crafted soaps, and I promise, there is a scent to please any nose!

I was sent a couple products to try from Green 4 Your Soul. First a company I have wanted to work with for the longest time, Shea Terra. I tried a sample size of their Shea Terra Organics Pink Guava Pomegranate Shea Body Butter. Some Shea Butter products I have tried are a little too slick and well, greasy. Not this one. It is nice and thick like a body butter should be, but absorbs in quickly, so that it is my skin feeling the nourishment, not my clothes! You don’t have to wait 15 minutes before dressing, fearing it will all come off on your clothes! And the sweet smell of Pink Guava is a nice bonus too. Not too strong to over power the senses, but a subtle lingering note.

The size I was sent is .26 oz., and is just want my purse and I were craving, as I have a couple other cheek and lip tints, but I can’t fathom pulling it out and applying to my lips in public! They are just too big. This is a nice discreet tube.
The color is great, more berry then cocoa, but not pink berry. It goes on extremely natural, and the texture is great to smooth into the cheeks and lips. Who can lose with a cosmetic that uses only antioxidant rich fruits and vegetables to create their pigment?
