Depth Body. Beauty from the Sea Review

Depth was introduced in 2008, but the idea for Depth was born a decade prior, when Tim Schaeffer and Korie Johnson met in graduate school, where they both studied to become marine biologists. Tim and Korie shared a love for the ocean and they soon found, for each other.

After graduate school Korie built her career as a marine biologist, protecting the marine habitats of endangered species, while Tim went to business school and subsequently worked in the natural products industry developing personal-care products that are gentle on both people and the planet. Misikko Hana Professional Flat Iron Review and Giveaway

This has to be the best electric device that I use.  Hands down.  Gives my hair shine like you just can’t believe and literally takes me less then 3 minutes to do.  And I have a lot of hair.  Granted, most of it is already pretty straight, but I have some nappy waves and curls going on underneath it all!

I have another Flat Iron, that is only Ceramic COATED plates.  and believe me when I tell you this is a HUGE difference between ceramic coated and actual ceramic plates, which is what that Hana Professional Flat Iron 1.5 has.

Okay some of the features that I am just jawdropped and stunned with are the curved plates.  My other flat iron (which was made by a big company and not cheap) supposedly have these too… But they don’t work.  On the Hana Professional 1.5 they do work!  Curl, wave, flip or straighten!

and the temperature settings!  I like having a choice of just how hot I need to get my hair to manipulate it!

I am also enamored with the Floating Adjustable Plates.  I have a lot of hair, but for the most part it is fine.  Which means, it is a lot easier on my to straighten a lot at a time versus little section.  If i do little sections not only will I get flyaways but my goodness it would take forever!  Which is why I stopped bothering with the other one!

And I just want to mention again, this is not ceramic coated.  No ladies (and gentlemen?) this Flat Iron is full on ceramic!  Helps prevent color fading.  SWEET!

I have never been one to fix my hair.  I love makeup and skincare, but for some reason I grew up hating to fix my hair.  I also had have a dislike of what I look like with my hair up.  So I grew up with Hair Straighteners and curling irons and lots of hair spray.  I woke up super early every day so i could fix my hair.  Now I realize it actually looks better less fixed!  (I didn’t get the nickname Prissy Krissy for nothing!)

South Of France Review and Giveaway

I also tried out their liquid hand soaps.  The South of France Liquid Soaps are a high lathering soap made with a special blend of premium vegetable oils. The soaps are kettle cooked in small batches following a traditional French recipe.

Lavender, Lemon Mint, Orange Blossom Honey, Green Tea and Shea Butter are infused with luxurious fragrances.  I in my awe over the scent of the Orange Blossom Honey.  It is the perfect blend of citrus and sweet.  I ran out of my favorite hand soap in the kitchen and this became a great replacement.  Cleans, but doesn’t leave my hands and nails extremely dried out.

I also tried out their Acai Pomegranate Body Wash and Body Lotion. South of France maintains their own special blend of premium of ingredients including all natural vegetable oils enhanced with natural anti-oxidants.

The wash left my skin nice and clean, but again, not squeaky clean. It has such an awakening scent.  It smells clean and refreshing, which is exactly what it does for the skin.  The lotion left my skin extremely moisturized and nicely scented.  I don’t like my lotions to over power with scent, and this has a great level.

I love love love my Clarisonic.  I hardly ever feel the need to use an additional exfoliator.  I feel like it gives me a more even exfoliation then any cleanser, or scrub can do.

I only use the sensitive skin brushhead on my Clarisonic, I don’t feel a need a to use anything stronger.  I do wish i had the body piece too, only because I do get occasional breakouts on my chest and back, but the heads do run out.  If I used the same head on my body as I do on my face, it wouldn’t last very long at all.  And they are pretty expensive to replace, at $25.   You only need to replace every 3-4 months, I would imagine I would need a new one every 1-2 months if I used the facial brush on my body.

I have admitted to you all before that I am lip balm, lip quencher- name it anything you want junkie.

My lips are addicted.  As soon as I saw this Lip Kit from June Jacobs, I just had to have it!

Paraben and preservative free, This is a three step kit.  Fantastic for us addicts.  Helps to contour the lips, fight wrinkles, reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and to keep lip stick from feather (with multiple uses.)

• Lip Masque: This luxurious masque, enriched with soothing botanicals and age-fighting anti-oxidants, gently soothes, hydrates and protects the lips, leaving them ultra-smooth. Directions: Apply to lips and leave on for two to three minutes and rinse off with warm water.

Again, here I am, trying to pick a favorite out of three winners!  The Lip Scrub is great for days that maybe you slept too long?  or maybe you had lipstick on all day and it has hijacked your soft lips and replaced them with sandpaper?  The scrub is soft, and sweet and removed all the dead skin sitting on my lips with great ease!

The Lip Masque is fun, just for no other reason then having a mask on your lips! Really seems to do a task beyond a normal lip treatment duty!

and the Lip Renewal. This is my new clear lip gloss.  It hydrates, is not at all sticky, and once the bulk of it has worn away, my lips still feel conditioned.  No bad taste either!
