Cosabella Smooth Shapewear Review and Giveaway
COSABELLA, meaning “beautiful thing,” was founded in 1983 by the Italian husband & wife team of Ugo and Valeria Campello. The intimate apparel company got its start, and initial recognition, with the design of bodysuits in the mid-eighties. Now after celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2008, Cosabella is renowned for their comfortable, colorful & diverse collections that include loungewear, swimwear, beachwear, hosiery, shape wear, & new eco-friendly loungewear & lingerie.
The Breathe collection consists initially of seven basic shape wear pieces sized small, medium, large and extra large. Each style is designed to target specific problem areas as an everyday control wear with medium compression.
Versatility of the fabric and styling means that each style can be adjusted to its most effective position on the body depending on the individual.
Cosabella transcends innerwear to outerwear by bringing fashion colors to basics. Our Shapewear is ready for this next step. Our Smooth Camisole is styled as an outerwear top and together with our Smooth thong is available in the latest fashion colors of dark violet, chocolate, pink lily, and white in addition to the basics of black and nude. With Red, turquoise and Fuchsia to debut 11/15.

I was able to give the Smooth Thong a try. I should first say, I am not a real big fan of thongs. (i feel like I have wedgy. lol.) But the Smooth Thong fits so well, and doesn’t move around like a typical thong, so I didn’t have that problem. It was actually really comfortable. Most shape wear has so much elastic and so much artificial, man made material that they cause me to sweat, then get really cold. I didn’t that issue here. The Breathe Collection is made from 67% Bamboo, so it allows your skin to breathe, a huge bonus from all other shapewear. Breathable Shapewear! Plus eco-friendly, we found a winner!
Cosabella did supply me with the Smooth thong to try out, although the didn’t sway my personal opinion. Cosabella is also offering one Prissy Green Reader the chance to win a Smooth Camisole and Smooth Thong for themselves! a $102 value!

Organic Scoop Neck Long Sleeve
This tee is so soft, and almost ridiculously comfortable. I have only had it about a 10 days, and have worn it 3 times! I like that it is long enough to cover me, and not ride up. When working out or just running errands, there are not many things worse then a tee you feel like is showing your booty. The scoop is just right too, not too deep to let the girls show, but yet enough to still be a scoop! I have the ocean color, and it is almost a cross between periwinkle and teal.
· Bamboo Boat Neck Henley- Naturally thermal regulating, breathable and quick to dry. This Bamboo Henley is an ecological breakthrough in apparel. The fabric is made of 70% Bamboo, 25% Cotton, 5% Spandex. Colors Available: Rose and Chocolate with white contrast stitching. ($34.95)
Bamboo Boat Neck Henley
Ah, and the Bamboo Boat Neck Henley. Soft and breathable, it is one most perfect shirts I own for working out. Sometimes a tank top just doesn’t work! The small flower design on the right area of the waist adds a touch of character too. These do run a little small, so I suggest ordering up a size.
