Chango Make a Little Money Off Your Searches

I am trying not to add too many ads or links on Prissy Green, but frankly someone has to pay the bills right?  And personally Kontera seems to be pretty slow.geico_eyeball_money2

Kontera ads are ads word links(two lines that under them) that is you hover on them a pop up comes up.  And if you click on it you make me a few pennies. But they show to all of your readers.

Chango is ad links for search engine traffic. (try searching “Korres Blockbuster” then you will see Prissy Green at the top in Google, then look at that post.  You will see the two lines under some words and some will be Kontera links and some will be Chango. I appreciate Chango for realizing I am not trying to spam my loyal readers.  And of course I am not trying to spam my search readers (hopefully loyal readers soon) but again, someone has to pay the bills!

I have read a couple articles and Chango seems to be the new big deal and makes a better profit (if you have search engine visability)

So sign up under me!  I would appreciate it! Ola- Chango!

If you don’t have much search engine visability, Kontera is probably still a safe bet, but if you do get search engine traffic you might want to try it out!

Chango is similar to Chitika (which is fantastic). Chitika ads are boxes below or after your posts that only display to search engine traffic.

If you would like to sign up to Kontera, you need an invite, please email me at karissag at gmail dot com and I will send you an invite!

Prissy Green hits a nerve here. I have tried Adsense, Chitika and all types of affiliate products on my Eating NYC Blog. I quit trying to make a ton of money with it and now just Blog for fun. Once in a while a little income is generated if someone makes a click through and purchase, other than that seems all the ad networks get the pleasure of us promoting their brands with very little cost to them.

hmm, I do use adsense, mainly only in my emails and feed, but it is decent. I finally collected my first payment this month (after a year) but I didn’t use it at all for several months.
i think the trick is not abusing your readers with too much, but hoping they understand that running a blog isnt free.

as for adsense having any control over blog roll or posts? I have never had that problem or issue. feel free to email me if you have any more questions!

AND to update everyone, I made $1 in one day of Chango.com and i average about $1 a day off Chitika.

Thanks for the great information … I’ve considered using something like AdSense in blogger … do you know anything about that. The only problem I have with these programs (and since I’ve never been able to ask anyone I don’t know if it’s true) is that it appears they have some kind of control over a sites blog roll and posts. Do you, or does anyone, happen to know if this is true?

As always … your site rocks!

If I go with Chango I’ll definitely sign up under you. I’ve been toying with Chikita. How’s the revenue? I don’t think I’m getting tons of search engine traffic yet. I’m trying to optimize my SEO but I’m a noobie. Hopefully more soon!

personally… 2 lines under text, that as I move through the text with my cursor, pops up boxes, is the absolute most annoying method of advertising. With a pop up blocker, pop ups are a non issue anymore. Looking from the advertiser side of this, Chitika has worked well for me, especially with the option to show adsense ads turned on for non search engine visitors.

Looks great! Both of these programs seem to be for wordpress users only. I wish I could find a similar one for blogger users. I really don’t want to have to move our blog :(
