TJ Maxx and Marshalls, Review and Giveaway
I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I had at TJ Maxx a couple weeks ago. I went in, with my $25 gift card in hand, and told myself the only way I would go over that, is for $5 or a winter coat. Notice the OR? Not both.
I walked out with a new winter coat, a sweet Marmot Fleece, a perfect brown sweater and hand weights. Thanks goodness I am a green beauty blogger, or I would have spent so much more on the skincare section.
And thank goodness secondly, that I have already agreed to a handbag review, so I only glanced at them. And yes, i do mean, that I only glanced. I was scared to look!
Let me show you some of my finds! I was snapping pictures left and right!
This sweater is really soft, and comfy. I always buy a sweater in this color to top any outfit that needs a warm up! I wear them out too! Notice is usually retails for at least $70. At Tj’s for only $34.99
And honestly, this picture doesn’t do it justice, but my camera is at a friends house today, so no additional shots.
and I also spotted this Anne Klein Sweater. How pretty is it? I didn’t buy this, but wanted to prove they have hot brands!
And this awesome Columbia coat. I wanted it… but I put it back. It appeared they had one in every size too. Only $49.99, I know these go for about $200. (kicking myself for not getting it!)
I don’t think you can tell from this photo, but this coat is really snazzy. It is quilted, but not too thick and “fluffy.” I have to buy coats that will not attract dog hair, and I fell in love with this one. for $39! Again, this photo really does not do it justice, it is dressier then it appears. I saw plenty of Anne Klein, Nine West, Roxy and more.
And then I also got a half zip Marmot Pull Over Fleece. It is a purple burgundy, and I love it. Already wore it!
They had so much skin care too! I was falling on myself. Organic and natural! Plus yoga mats, and just about any accessory you could want for exercise. I didn’t even attempt housewares. Our house is full!
If you are on a budget (who isn’t?) go get some of the gift sets for skin care, or fragrance for Christmas!
DDF, Borba, Organix, L’Oreal all top price products that they carry for such low prices! hello Origins!
The harder I tried to make it to the Marshalls near me, the more it seemed like I wasn’t supposed to! one day was a bad accident near the store, sat in traffic for an hour. Then the next time, an truck carrying propane hit a bridge and well, blew up. TJ Maxx is down the street, but Marshalls is about 30-45 minutes away, depending on which one. But my plan is to make it there this week and look for some boots.
So Tj Maxx and Marshalls have offered up 1 $25 gift card to each store! Two winners! To enter to win, visit either store and tell me what you would buy, and at which store. I love TJ MAXX & MARSHALLS!! I just bought my darling husband a pair of gorgeous CK brown dress shoes which retail for $100, but i got them aqt marshalls for $29 !! While I was there I saw a gorgeous soft pink trench coat that I’d love to have for myself! so I hope I win!!! this would take a nice heafty chunk off of the price for me!

Okay…I seriously have a shopping issue with TJ Maxx and Marshalls! They have AWESOME products at some really AMAZING prices! Okay…BREATHE! My husband shutters at the thought, but I really need some winter clothes…I cleaned out my dresser over the weekend and donated the clothes to some local charities! This GF would be a HUGE help!

I am lucky enough to have a TJ Maxx and Marshalls in the same strip mall near me, but TJ Maxx always seems to have a slightly better selection, so I’d probably spend this there. I would love to invest in one of the designer hand bags. I always have to tell myself it’s not spending $150ish, it’s saving $200ish.

My favorite thing to get at both Marshalls and TJMaxx is soy candles. They sell them REALLY cheap compared to other stores. That is what I would use the GC for!

I would get a boyfriend blazer at T.J. Max to replace a blazer that has worn out at the elbows, and at Marshalls, the boot collection looks good, so I’d get a pair of comfy but stylish boots for Fall!

I would buy pair of dark washed Lucky Jeans – they go for around $35 at TJ Maxx and Marshalls but retail for $90-110. they are the best quality jeans out there, imo.
