Organic Skin Care and Moor Spa

The Moor Spa brand of Skin Care, Body Care, Treatment & Wellness products is based on the wonderful revitalizing, purifying and nutrient-rich properties of our unique 10,000 year old Austrian Deep Moor Essence.  The Moor Spa brand includes over 70 pure moor and moor-based products which have been expertly formulated to cater to the needs of the modern spa professional.  Organic Skin Care, is a retailer for the Moor Spa brand line of products.

Moor Spa products use 100% Natural Source ingredients. No artificial colours, fragrances or preservatives are used, nor any petroleum-derived ingredients

m133I got lost looking the first night I found Organic Skin Care.  I was searching for a natural Pumpkin Enzyme Peel, and it led me to many sites, but only one of which I found was truly natural.  Since then I have tried their Pumpkin  Peel, and have enjoyed the smooth soft skin it leaves me with.  Pumpkin Peels are great for smoker’s skin, which is usually dehydrated on top but oily underneath.  Now I am not a smoker, but that is what my skin was going through when I was using Benzoyl Peroxide. It effectively removed the dead skin, that was drying my face, and making me look older then I am.

It does this by utilizing  these key ingredients:

Pumpkin Pulp: A nutrient-rich pulp with enzymes containing high levels of vitamin A to assist skin renewal and healing.
Papain: enzyme from Papaya -active exfoliant.
Bromelain: enzyme from Pineapple – exfoliates and breaks down the dead corneum cells.
Carrot extract: rich in beta-carotene as well as vitamins B, C, D and E and extremely effective for dry and aging skin.

Every product made by Moor Spa, includes Moor Mud. Moor is a rare form of nutrient-rich peat created by the gradual transformation of herbs, plants & flowers which have been permanently submerged under water or underground.

Free from the decaying effects of oxygen and in the correct climatic and biological conditions, the plant matter undergoes a ‘ripening’ process over thousands of years into a rich, black substance.  During this process all of the organic and inorganic substances within the plants are assimilated into the Moor resulting in a herbal complex with wonderful therapeutic properties.  Just look at the nutrients found in Moor.

Moor has been a part of traditional medical folklore throughout many parts of Central Europe for centuries. During the past 60 years, a wealth of clinical studies conducted on Moor therapy has confirmed that Moor indeed does possess a wide range of beneficial properties.

Moor Mud has been used in several of these areas:

  • Facials: Specialty treatments for all skin types and a wide range of applications including anti-aging, acne / problem skin, pore-refining, whitening, deep cleansing, smoothing etc.
  • Hydrotherapy: A profoundly relaxing and restorative experience both for the skin and the Image720whole body. This can be used as a therapy for helping to relieve the symptoms of many health problems.
  • Body Wrap: A range of treatments using moor, algae, gels and salt glows purify & revitalize.Used at spas worldwide as an aid in the treatment of cellulite, weight loss, stretch-marks & scar tissue.
  • Body Pack: Uses the moor’s thermal properties to help relieve joint / muscle soreness, back pain and sports injuries.
  • Hair & Scalp: Wonderful for devitalized or damaged hair. Helps to re-establish natural balance in the hair and scalp and also helps to prevent hair loss by supporting blood flow to the follicles.
  • Detoxification: An important factor in health care maintenance and anti-aging. Combining the Herbal Bath and Supplements at home may help to purify the body both externally and internally.
  • Hand / Foot: Puts life back into tired hands or feet. Softens callouses, helps to improve circulation and revitalizes neglected skin. Can be combined with a manicure, pedicure or reflexology.
  • Massage: The Massage Lotion and Balm are excellent tools for combining the benefits of massage with moor- and aromatherapy.

I was also able to sample their Tension Balm.  Oh sweet relief!  So nice to be able to use a product that truly relieves tension, but doesn’t contain any ingredients that sounds even the slight bit sketchy to me.

Soothes muscle tension in the head (temples), neck and shoulders. Great for migraine.

Feverfew extract: reduces inflammation and prevents painful cerebral-vascular spasms.
Melissa oil: powerful anti-inflammatory, sedative effects.
Peppermint oil: feeling of coolness to the skin.
Magnesium ascorbate: pain inhibitor
I wake up with a stiff neck every few weeks, I know it is because once I have fallen asleep, I usually don’t move around too much.  This  Tension Balm, along with my Flaxseed pillow has help to alleviate that pain, and get my neck rotating again.

In spite of growing evidence of their potentially harmful effects the vast majority of skin-care products still contain artificial preservatives, colors or fragrances; and petroleum-derivatives such as propylene glycol, PEG and mineral oil. Even products described as “organic” or “natural” often contain these synthetic ingredients.

Moor Spa Skin-Care products include a 100% natural source guarantee, signed by the company President, providing information on the source of every ingredient. This gives you the confidence to know that what you are offering your clients is wholly natural – and therefore probably most healthy.

I have a great giveaway for you today.  You get your choice of either Tension Balm or their Best-Selling Skin Balm.  The Skin Balm is great for cuts, diaper rash, bug bites, dry skin well you pretty much name it!  It is your all over soothing Salve that every house should have on hand!  The Tension balm Retails for $48, and the Skin Balm for $49.

To enter, please go to Organic Skin Care online, and tell me one product that you would like to try and why.
