I have a fun shop for you to check out today, along with a giveaway.  It is actually brought to us by one of you!  A PG reader.  Her name is Angie and she has an Etsy shop called FotoMacro.

Here is bit from her intro there: I am a passionate artist who loves nature and likes to show nature’s beauty by getting into the nitty-gritty details of the natural world. I enjoy tromping through my yard, local parks, city streets, etc. looking for that perfect macro shot that will show nature in all of its perfect and jaw-dropping glory. I hope you enjoy my photography as much as I love taking the photos. My wish is that it will inspire you to not only make a purchase of one of my prints, but to see nature in a new and exciting way–a way you never have before.

I am so glad that someone knows how to take the pictures that I always have the desire to take!  For one, I never know how, and two, I never seem to have a camera when I see the shots I would want to capture.

I really enjoy the rich detail of Angie’s prints.  And even rain drops catching the sun in the shots. Makes me remember to take a little extra time to enjoy myself and my surroundings! Even the smallest things in nature we take for granted have their beauty.

    I love all of them but I think “Uniola paniculata 2″ is my fav.
    Love the detail & visual feel of it. And the colors are fantastic.

    If I am lucky enough to be chosen, I would choose the “Little Red and Black Bug” print. I spent 7 years growing up in Germany, where they believe that the ladybug is a sign of good luck — I STILL believe that to this day (some 30-odd years later)!!

    The Little red & black bug because my son really loves “Nady bugs” as he calls them and the picture is so beautiful i know he would love this for his room. It shows the innocence of a ladybug that I would compare to that of a child.
