Hoop It Up With Hoopnotica and Green Your Fitness Routine! Review and Giveaway
I go to a lot of music shows and festivals, not as many as normal this year, but I know the scene. Dancing hippies, dancing frat boys, girls in heels (so funny) and then hippies in disguise, like me. And then there are always “hoopers.” They are always fun to watch, and I always end up longing for their super-smokin’ bodies.
If I dare be so bold as to say they have bodies that are even prettier to me then a dancers. Strong, flexible and thin. With loads of muscle, but pretty muscle, not bulky.
Last year I entered a contest and won a Hoopnotica Travel Hoop. I was thrilled! I have used it off and on for months now. It gives me an incredible cardio workout, as well as a gut crushing abdominal work out. Yes they are similar to Hula Hoops, and the same basic concept, but these are heavier then a Hula Hoop. The extra weight is for two reasons:

I have always wanted one of these! I am arthritic and I can’t participate in workouts that cause any extreme stress to my joints, which leaves very little, but this workout is something my doctor actually approves of because it causes little to no joint strain and offers tremendous benefits!

My fitness goals are to start and continue exercising daily and to lose a significant amount of weight over time – about 70 lbs. I will do this through excellent nutrition and exercise, and of course, it won’t be quick. One of my stumbling blocks is that I haven’t found an exercise that I love. The hoops look like it could be the one!

I just want to get more physically fit. Ten pounds lost would be good too but I just need to get more energy.
I have recently lost 20 pounds and have 20 more to go. I’m kind of burned out on my current exercise routine, so this would be a huge help in getting me motivated to kick the last 20 pounds. I hope I win this, it would be just awesome!

As a severely obese woman with a food addiction, my main goal is to get healthy. I need to lose over 200lbs, but I try not to look at it in that large of a goal. Adding walking and raw foods to my diet and trying to just be more active in general is my current goal.

Oh are you kidding me?! The video was so much fun to watch! Anyway, my fitness goal is simple. When I got married I was a nice little size 3. Then my thyroid went wacky. Two years later and I am a size 12! I would love to just get my body back to a good size. I would like to whittle my waist back down to at least a 7. I work out now by walking, hiking, and using my Wii fit. I would love to give these hoops a try. I am so glad you are doing this giveaway just for the chance to learn about these!

Well, I have been stable at my weight for past 2 years but I really need to lose about 30 pounds. Doesn’t seem to matter what I eat or do for exercise so maybe this would shake things up enough to lose. I need to drop a few inches from waist and this would help

I need activities that work year round. I kind of sit around waiting for swimming season and then later sit around regretting that its over. I do get out and walk but seasonal allergies keep me in the house during certain high pollen counts. I’ve tried filling in with the Wii Fit, but I’d perfer a real hulahoop to a virtual one.

My fitness goal is to be able to climb at least two fourteeners by next summer. I am working at losing weight, it’s been a long struggle but I only have thirty more pounds to go.
I have carried a lot of this weight as my “security blanket” of sorts because of things that happened to me in my childhood. I have finally worked through, healed through, enough of the memories to fully realize and accept that I no longer need my “security blanket” to be safe. I just learned how to hoop last year but have been learning more and more tricks over the past several months.
