Amazon Beauty’s Rahua Organic Hair Care Review and Giveaway

1248484801740187219477Perfect shampoo for growing out hair?  Or for extremely dry and damaged hair? I truly think I have found it.  I may have tested a few other hair products lately, but this one has always made it’s way back to prime shower shelving!

Of course the price is a little high compared to your average store bought and possibly even salon bought shampoos and conditioners, yet I promise you, if you have dry or damaged hair you need this product!  Or if you are trying to grow your hair out quickly, this and some supplements should have your locks gracing the floor in no time!  (ok, maybe not gracing the floor, but I do think it made my hair grow faster)

Rahua Organic Hair Care Collection, with pure extracts, grown in the wild forests of the Amazon rainforest, Amazon Beauty has created a collection of rare and potent elixirs and hair care products that cleanse and condition the hair with ingredients that have been used by Amazon women for hundreds of years.

1217095647987521852433Rahua Organic Shampoo strengthens and lengthens all hair types including color-treated and delicate hair, balances and maintains a healthy scalp. Made with rainforest grown ingredients, Rahua Elixir repairs damaged hair and Palo Santo imparts a beautiful aroma. Organic Rahua Shampoo is free of chemical preservatives and a is high performance, 100% natural product.

Key ingredients in Rahua Shampoo include Rahua Elixir which instantly repairs damaged hair and speeds hair growth and Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens), a centuries old calming ingredient from aged holy wood that imparts an amazingly beautiful aroma and is traditionally used in Shaman ceremonies. $32

12249602545662077547542Rahua Organic Conditioner strengthens and lengthens all hair types including color-treated and delicate hair. And is completely organic, and natural, and boosts the same hair healthy ingredients as the Shampoo. $34

12170955981041556496003

The most unique feature of Rahua is its super-fine, nano-molecular structure that allows for the molecules of Rahua to penetrate into the hair’s cortex, rebuilding even the most porous, damaged hair for a strong, shiny, healthy mane. Rahua Organic Leave-In Treatment is perfect for those that love cream-based formulas and can be used for instant dry and damaged hair repair.

This leave in is a little thick to use all over for me, but applied to my ends, it does magic.  Abra-cadabra magic. You really only need a small amount and work through wet hairs’ ends. $28-90

1223862794589-1101119677Lastly they have this serum.  I wasn’t able to try this out, but with the starting price being $100 I understand.

Rahua Elixir is 100% natural, vegan and organic and is grown wild in the Amazon in symbiosis with nature. Rahua Elixir promotes longer, stronger, healthier hair with every drop holding the promise to care for ones hair, ones health and the environment.

Pamper locks with the luxurious high-quality performance of Rahua Elixir. Adds brilliance and elasticity to all hair types, including color-treated hair. $100-$175

This is one shampoo no one else is allowed to TOUCH! heck they better not even look at it.  It suds up nicely and smooths over hair in a velvety lather, rinses well, has a very light, yet lovely scent.  Using the regular shampoo and conditioner combo is like using most haircare lines treatment products. Truth is, it works!  It does everything it claims, and maybe even more!  I certainly have a healthy head of hair, along with a healthy scalp, and I will be reordering when I am all out.  Somewhat lucky for me, I only wash my hair 3-4 times a week, so this will last a good amount of time.  I am only half-way through now!

I have a complete set minus the Elixir for one Prissy Green Reader!  To enter, tell me something unique that you find on their Amazon Beauty Website.

The elixir is made from Rahua nuts collected from the Amazon Rainforest floor by women from the Quechua-Shuar tribe. It is always a good thing when a company can get the local population invested in a product and help maintain the natural landscape.
