This book is so practical and so needed as a work through in today’s society. Remember the time before plastic? umm, I don’t. But I rarely use it in the home, i save all of my glass jars and reuse them for food storage. This book really sheds a bright light on the hidden dangers that probably are lurking in your home. From Indoor pollution, to drinking water and foods and so much more in between, this book realy is a must have for anyone trying to live a healthier and greener lifestyle. Yet this book was great for a person like me who thinks I already have a pretty detoxed home, I learned that even though we use a filter (by aquasana) I should still have my water tested, and I do really need to get rid of my non-stick pans. Even if they cost me a bundle!

FLOR Review and Giveaway
If you look at any blog around the blogosphere chances are you have seen a FLOR review or two. They are very happy to work with Blogs to help them spread the word! And I admit, us bloggers are pretty happy to get some tasteful decor for our homes too!

I picked out enough tiles to make a 5×7 rug (12 tiles). I places my order with their rep (for review) and was so excited to get them home. The rug we currently had a the front door was a quick grab so we would have something to walk on, but we were far from in love with it.
When I got the FLOR tiles in, I quickly opened the box and started placing them in an order and soon realized, I hated a couple of the colors. The colors were very pretty by themselves, but 
when you add our room decor to them, they are really bright and well, just plain didn’t fit in at all! I sent my rep an email, apologizing for picking out tiles I couldn’t use, and asked her what we could do. She was SO sweet about it. Thirsty Thursday, Creamy Margaritas!

If this is not your first rodeo with Prissy Green, then you know how much me and Craig love our margaritas and mexican food. Well we also love sorbet or sherbet, and when I was sent this recipe, I just had to share! I also have a standing joke when waitresses ask us if we would like dessert, I always state, that I am drinking it, if I have a glass of wine or a margarita. silly, not funny, but I can’t help it.
Creamy Margaritas
4 smallish servings, 2 good servings. =)
2 cups lime sorbet or sherbet
1can (12 fluid ounces) evaporated milk
1 cup ice cubes
2 tablespoons (1 shot) tequila (optional or add more! lol!)
Coarse salt for rim Or fine sugar
Fresh lime slices (optional, just for garnish, or if you want some extra juice)
Easy Peasy, throw is all minus the salt and fresh lime slices and blend until smooth and you don’t hear any more ice crunching, I usually hit pulse a couple times.
Then salt the rims, add the fresh lime and ENJOY!!

Erde Designs Review
hey have you guys noticed my Project Wonderful Ads? I have found some pretty cool companies that like to advertise on Prissy Green. There are two sets of ads, one in the far left column, that has 4 ad boxes, and one in the near left column that is really long. Please pay these guys all a visit when you come here, as some of the places are quite remarkable!
I found one to be so remarkable, I was ready to purchase one of his designs. The site is Erde Designs and you can find it at Etsy. He builds the most beautiful pieces out of wood to hold either candles, herbs, vases for individual flowers or anything your heart desires. The make a great centerpiece, or windowsill adornment!
When I first saw them, I quickly picked up my laptop and went over to where Craig was working and showed him. He thought they were really cool too. We have black metal end tables and a coffee table and I knew it would look perfect there, as we have dark wood everywhere else in the living room. I was right!
Now granted these pictures I took don’t do his work quite the justice it deserves! So here are a few from his etsy shop. He makes his items out of all sorts of wood, some recycled and some not, but all beautiful jus the same. Mahogany, Pine, Birch, Red Oak and many more. All come with different finishes, and some are made in a way that give them tons of depth and extra design quality.
Trust me I know a little something about quality wood, I grew uo with a step-dad that is a master carpenter and has a 6 or 7th generation carpentry company. Anytime we went
anywhere he was knocking the wood tables, cabinets etc to see how they were made… actually I said that like he doesn’t do it anymore, scratch that! he still does it!
If you want to purchase one of his unique and handmand items, I promise you will fall in love with it! He is a very nice guy and when I first approached him to ask him the depth of the containers, he let me know that his wide is a Prissy Green reader! Coincidence? But instead of having me purchase one, he wanted to send me one so I could review it here! Sweet blog of mine!
I am going to use mine for now as a candle holder, but when the candles run out I will add cati most likely. But I do have plans to purchase another one, I think it would look great on our faux copper finish dining table as another centerpiece, the dining table it next to 3 huge windows and I think would just look spectacular with some herbs in it!

Lenka sent me this beautifully crafted Plank Cutting board. it is simply perfection, 
it has small divets in the sides to you can easily move it around without the annoying suction effect some get when they have juice spill underneath. It is a great size for chopping many veggies and also having room to store them on the plank while chopping up the rest. You do not want to place in the dishwasher but it cleans up beautifully in the sink. Every so often you do want to oil it, so far I have had great luck with macadamia nut oil.
