Clean Body: The humble art of zen-cleansing yourself Review and Giveaway

I have a cool unique giveaway and review for you today. Clean Body: The Humble Art of Zen-Cleansing Yourself(hardcover). I have 5 copies to giveaway!
This book is about how to clean yourself and your home with 5 simple ingredients. But it really isn’t just about being clean easily, it is more of a philosophical approach to your mind and body, and of course your spirit. The author, Michael Dejong wants cleaning to be a mindset, naturally what you do. His five pure essentials in his recipes, using baking soda, lemon, olive oil, salt, and white vinegar.
Every inch of your body is covered head to toe, including moisturizers, creams for itchy skin and even discolored knees and elbows! He also has separate concoctions for men and women, because we do have very different bodies after all!
I found the book to be a fun read, but I don’t know that I personally learned anything that I didn’t know already. But, i have been at this a long time, and I think if you are just getting started into making body products at home, this book would be a great introduction. I say beginner to intermediate. =)
So i have five copies to giveaway to you lovely readers! To enter simply tell me one of the ingredients that you already use a home and what you use it for! baking soda, lemon, olive oil, salt, and white vinegar

I use all of these items but I never thought about it before. An already squeezed lemon will freshen up the garbage disposal. White vinegar will clean a drip coffee pot.

I use vinegar in the laundry when cleaning bed inens each week – 'spossed to be great for bed mites, I also use it in a mix with dish soap on the floors – it cleans great and has kept away ants – along with salt along outside wall since I began using it – also use it in the fridge and for cleaning glass.

Ohmagosh- I MUST get this book, GREAT giveaway! I use lemon every now and again. I slice it up and nuke it with some water in the microwave. The gunk just wipes right off after that. Then I throw the used peels and water into the disposal with some ice to clean up the blades a bit.

When i grow Herbs in the summer,i pick leaves of the cleansing herbs and add them to a jar of White Vinegar. This can be used to kill germs and naturally clean the house and animal spaces. The vinegar scent nicely dissipates and no use of harsh chemicals is needed;)
