Häagen-Dazs Review and Giveaway, ONE DAY!
I think I have mentioned a time or two about how I am a candy addict. Well the mister is an ice-cream addict, well he can’t eat it alone now can he? So he has forced, (ha!) his dirty habit on me! it usually happens on nights when we try and eat a smaller healthy dinner, or we eat too early. We both look at each other with the all knowing look, and cry, ice-cream! Häagen-Dazs has come out with a new line of products called FIVE. The concept is very simple actually, Five ALL NATURAL ingredients: Cream, sugar, eggs, milk and o
ne of the following, which also happen to be the flavors, see simple!
~Vanilla Bean
~Coffee
~Mint
~Passion Fruit
~Milk Chocolate
~Ginger
~Brown Sugar
My favorite was the Vanilla Bean. It tasted like a Vanilla Malt. I wasn’t brave enough to try the ginger. I love sushi but don’t like the sushi and don’t like any Asian cuisine with ginger, so I figured I probably wouldn’t like it. The Mister loved the Milk Chocolate and the Coffee. The Mint was pretty close in the rankings with the Vanilla Bean too. I wasn’t an enormous fan of the Passion Fruit. I think it is because I am used to fruity ice-creams having chunks, other then that I can’t figure it cause the flavor was good. They are all really refreshing and good, and a nice change from the over powering super duper caramel 5 chocolate swirled and dunked and chunked you usually see! I get lost trying to pick out ice-cream, these make it easy!

Brown Sugar
I so want to try the ginger ice cream. Since ginger helps with nausea, and since ice cream is sometimes good for someone with cancer, this sounds like it would be good for a dear friend. Thank you for hosting and letting me know about this flavor. Thank you.
Although they all sound yummy, I’d like to try the ginger just because it’s so different than any ice cream flavor I’ve ever seen.

Brown sugar, milk chocolate, ginger – all sound fantastic. This is the absolute best ice cream. I love it for me, and I love it for my Dad, who is in a nursing home, where the diet/menu is, shall we say, less than gourmet. He just loves this ice cream and loves different flavors.
