Barney Butter Review and Giveaway!
YUM! I love almonds and knew I was going to love Barney Almond Butter. It makes an amazing treat to just grab a spoonful of or to put on crackers or to make with jelly and bread. Such a difference from the standard PB & J.
Barney Butter is made in an Almond Only Facility, they use only high quality, locally grown almonds farmed by family farms (no corporate farms) and they guarantee from farm-to-fork Barney Butter is fresh and Peanut Free. Their almond farms are within 20 miles.
· Barney Butter is All Natural and You don’t have to stir or refrigerate
· Its healthier than peanut butter because it has less than half the saturated fat and more fiber, calcium, iron, magnesium and Vitamin E.
· It has an amazing taste- and has a super smooth texture.
They also use palm fruit oil not to be confused with palm kernel oil which is bad for you. I also want to point out this is not a trans-fat! YEA!
My jar is almost gone already! I will have to order more soon. I might try the crunchy next time around. The mister doesn’t like crunchy PB but for some reason he hasn’t been using the Barney Butter, more for me! (he is a stickler in his old PB ways I guess)

I am so excited about Barney Butter! I would looooove to try making those Barney Butter cups but they all looks sooo tummy. The reason I am so excited is that I am allergic to peanuts so this will give me a chance to eat yummy things and not die! LOL. I love almonds and it sounds so much better than nasty soynut butter! I am jealous of all the great things ppl make with peanut butter and I can make them with Barney Butter!

Barney Butter can replace peanut butter in any recipe. Fans have shared with me the many ways in which they use Barney Butter, such as for Asian Dipping Sauce or instead of tahini in hummus. Here are some of our favorites.
Barney Butter Cups
• 1 bag (11.5 oz) chocolate chips
• 3/4 cup Barney Butter
• 1/4 powdered sugar
• Peanut butter cup molds or paper baking cups (trim to half the height)
In a double boiler melt the chocolate chips. With a pastry brush “paint†melted chocolate to line bottom and sides of molds. Refrigerate (if using paper cups place in muffin tin and then refrigerate).
Meanwhile, combine the Barney Butter and the powdered sugar, kneading by hand to form a dough ball. Press Barney Butter filling into each cup. Top with melted chocolate and refrigerate to set.
Makes 20 “Reese’s†size cups
