Teatulia Organic Tea, Review and giveaway!

More tea! I have become such a tea lover and I respect Teatulia for their mission in Social Responsibility. Not only do the teas come from their garden ensuring there is no middle man but “Teatulia is no ordinary tea garden. Started in 2000 to give back to our community, we sought an enterprise that would give the most people a living wage while protecting/strengthening our environment. Not content with the social programs already in place, our Teatulia Cooperative has established revolutionary education, health and cattle-lending programs for the people working in the garden and surrounding areas. All sales of Teatulia Teas contribute to this mission, helping to better the lives of Bangladeshi men, women & children while rebuilding the local ecosystem.” This might be right up there with Fair Trade! The cattle lending gives their family fresh milk, and if one gives birth it is in fact a new calf for the family. These Co-ops are built by bamboo donated by the community, there has even been a school house built. Now if that isn’t enough reason to support Teatulia, well that tea tastings will make you!
Established on virgin soil and grown following Masanobu Fukuoka’s “natural farming†method, Teatulia is the only tea garden in Bangladesh to be USDA certified organic and the only garden we know of that has approached tea cultivation this way.
I sampled many flavors from Teatulia, one that I really think stands out is the Neem Nectar. So simple and smooth. A very elegant flavor. Neem is very purifying and Neem oil is great to use for healing. I have even read some articles that people will bathe with one Neem tea bag for health benefits. Teatulia line their fields with Neem Trees to provide shade for their tea, then they extract the neem oil to share with surrounding villages for the medicinal properties.
I also fell head over heels for the Earl of Bengal, it is a black tea and bergamont citrus blend. Bold yet unapologetically flavorful with a dash of Organic Oil of Bergamot to start your day. Now if that doesn’t just sound refreshing I don’t know what will! This is their take on Earl Grey but with black tea. It is delicious!
And of course I have sampled and loved to pieces their Green Tea. This green tea is one of the smoothest I have tried and believe me I have trialed a lot! it just tastes pure and natural, and that is because it really is pure and natural!
All of Teatulia’s packages are compostable and their teas come in fully biodegradable tea pyramids or you can buy them loose.
Now you know I mentioned a giveaway right? Right. Well Teatulia has offered to give one reader a Full Sized 3 pack Sampler!
So what I need for you to do to enter is go to Teatulia and tell me what flavor or flavors you would like to sample. Please do choose one mentioned in the review. You must do this to enter!

Of the flavors you reviewed, I would love to try the Earl of Bengal. Your description had me wanting to try it NOW
I also liked the Teatulia website’s description of the Tetulia White tea. I would like to try that one, too.
I watched the video on their website, it was beautifully done! Even though it was relatively long, more than 7 minutes, the music and scenery were so calming, I felt like I was watching a travel documentary. Even my three year old daughter came over to the computer to see what was so pretty!
This is a very interesting “company” and I think if I don’t win, I might just have to return and order some of this special, special tea. Not only for me to enjoy, but it would be a nice tea and story to tell guests.
Thanks for introducing me to such a fascinating product.
