I just love when I company spells it out for you as soon as you get to their site. Makes checking the label so much easier!

Nature’s Paradise was kind enough to send me their Body Organic Full Deluxe Set. I got all different flavors to try out too. Their Lavender Hand Cream is one of my favorites! (go figure!) It is not as thick as most hand creams, and penetrates the skin pretty quickly. The smell is of course heavenly. I mainly use it at night before going to bed or in the mornings before running around, it isn’t what you want to use before hopping online, a little too heavy for that. But perfect for other use.

The Coconut Body Cream is WOW! it is quite thick, and at first I didn’t think I was going to be able to spread it around very easily, but a few quick rubbings of my hands together and it warms up nicely and is able to be moved around easier then i thought, the scent is like a Pina Coloda on a hot summer day! YUM! And this stuff kicks some major dry skin BUTT!

I also received Vanilla Sugar body wash, it is a HUGE size a full 18oz! I like this wash because it comes out as a foam, it is easy and quick to use, and definitely doesn’t leave my skin dry! Just look at the ingredient list for the body wash, Organic Green Tea, Organic Jojoba Oil, Natural Flavors, Organic Coconut Oil Soap. Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Vanilla Extract, can’t get any better then that can it?

I also tried a couple samples of their body lotion, it is thick and creamy and left my skin moisturized all day as well. I just love the scents in this line, they actually stay on you all day and don’t disappear as soon as the lotion dries. I have finally gotten my elbows nice and soft!

They also have a really cool hand sanitizer. I tried it in the Vanilla Scent. I love that it is a spray and doesn’t dry your hands and skin out. Plus the scent doesn’t smell like a medical office!

My other favorite is the Pineapple Hand wash, it also comes out as a foam, and it gentle for the whole family. The smell is like summer, fresh cut pineapple. It really is delicious!

Bubble and Bee Pit Putty BEST EVER! Review and Giveaway

I really can’t believe I had not found Bubble and Bee before. No bad stuff! Screams from the top banner. I love it! She has organic and skin, adult and kid friendly products ranging from insect repellent to shampoo, deodorant and lip balms and soaps! I just love her selection. And the scent ranges are fantastic! I am really anxious to try the Coconut Lime, anything. I do mean anything. They also have Raspberry Vanilla. YUM!

Stephanie the creator behind Bubble and Bee sent me their Pit Putty, an all natural, all organic deodorant. Now before you say, natural deodorants don’t work for me, I will tell you honestly that Miss Prissy Green had not made the switch yet. I had tried several natural brands, and none of them had ever worked. (Now they do say you have to give them a couple weeks to work out toxins but, geesh, I don’t have two weeks to be stinky!) I was sent the Clove and Lemon sent. The scent is beautiful. It isn’t like most deodorants, it may crumble a little so be gentle. I saved mine from crumbling by leaving it next to my underwear drawer instead of in the bathroom, so the heat doesn’t warm it up. Anyway, back to the important part, This stuff is awesome! I love it, it must kill bacteria, because I have not been stinky at all! I love saying I am 100% natural now! I have a feeling it will last a long time too. I am now a believer that at least one natural and organic deodorant works! thank you Bubble and Bee!

I was also sent the Rootbeer flavored Organic lip balm. Wow, tastes perfectly, like my favorite drink of all time. If I close my eyes just right while applying, I can see the whole car hop set up. The balm isn’t sticky and tacky like some balms, it is moisturizing and smooth.

Celery Street Review and Giveaway

I caught this on the local news one very early morning and I just knew I had to reach out to Celery Street! After all they are a total eco-friendly shop in Indianapolis. Or if you are from Indy, Zionsville. Of course they also have a HUGE and amazing website too. They truly have a more then a little bit of everything. Great bamboo serving ware for your kitchen, funky hand bags made from recycled wrappers, everything is earth friendly and has some great thought put into it. Pretty much you name it they have it!  I keep getting lost in the housewares…..

The first item I chose to review was the 3 Bowl Chip and Dip set. This was perfect for us! We love to entertain, and serve homemade salsa or pico, and guacamole. This gives us the perfect device to serve it! I also think it would be great for a Mediterranean meal. Couscous, and hummus and cucumber salad with bread? YUM! We used this for our pico and guacamole one night when friends came over and they loved it! It made it so easy too!

The bottom serving  plate is 100% Bamboo!

I also let the pups pick out something they would like to review, they picked Oatmeal/Bear Colored Eco Bone Dog Toy. Bleu sniffed it out as soon as I got my package from Celery Street. He just KNEW there was something in there for him. He was a proud doggie, strutting around with his new bone. Once Bayles finally got it, she loved playing fetch with it. This bone is DURABLE!!

Let me tell you a little more about West Paws, In 2007, West Paw managed to divert over 165 tons of plastic from our landfills. Eco-toys are made with eco fabric that utilizes 85% recycled IntelliLoft fibers and then are stuffed with IntelliLoft fiber fill, created from recycled plastic bottles. Wow! This bone is awesome, and it squeaks, which Bayles loves, mom hates. Go figure.

Make It Monday, Foot Scrubs!

Okay Damey Dames! It is nearing sandal season for us northern gals, hush up hussies in the south that have been in them forever! We really don’t need to hear it, or we will throw snowballs!

Here are a few recipes to get your stylin in no time! I know most of us don’t have extra cash lying around for pedicures right now so do it yourself! Believe me, I am too picky with my piggies to let anyone else touch them anyways. (I am a total weirdo!)

First always start out by taking a long nice bath, OR by soaking those babies in a tub of warm water filled with 1 cup of ipsom salt for about 10 minutes.

First recipe:
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons of salt
3 lemons or limes ( crushed just the innards)
1 tablespoon sweet almond oil, lime oil any combination that you like it can be a couple different ones
10-15 mint leaves ( cut up)
1/4 cup baking soda

Mix this solution up and scrub away. I like my feet to to be just damp when i apply, not dry but not soaking either, it lets the scrub really SCRUB, and not just slick off. after you have rinsed off moisturize!

2nd Recipe:
1/4 cup of kosher salt
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup cornmeal
2 tablespoons aloe vera gel
1/4 cup olive oil
Mix this up and to form a paste and you will have a nice scrub, that will work to exfoliate and moisturize!

3rd:
1 1/2 cups of sea salt
1/4 cup of sweet almond oil
4 drops of peppermint essential oil
3 drops of lavender essential oil
Mix together and really well! now apply to your feel and really work into the rough spots. make sure you have soaked your feet before hand to really loosen up the rough spots. Make sure you get all the peppermint off your hands before touching your face too! Now make sure after rinsing you moisturize!!

Enjoy! And if you don’t feel much like doing it yourself, I love Scrubz. And she has the BEST scent to choose from. And I smell a giveaway pretty soon too.

Oh Snap.

I have quite possibly the worldest largest adult sized sweet tooth. But it is for kiddie candy. Not chocolate bars and things like that. I love the sugar stuff! I got an invite from Surf Sweets on Twitter and when I clicked the link to their webpage, I was in HOG HEAVEN!! whoa, organic candy that has 100% of your vitamin C?
