Ecover Review and Giveaway
My friend told me about Ecover a few months ago. I admit I have never heard of them before, but she told me that she had heard really wonderful things about their Laundry detergent and that it was especially good for cloth diapers. All natural and Eco-conscious products, I have to check this out!
Then once I got to Ecover’s website and started nosing around I knew I had a great company!
Ecover is an international company active in the production of ecological cleaners. Founded in 1980 in Belgium,we have been a trendsetter from the very start: as a pioneering company, marketing a phosphate-free washing powder even before phosphates were branded as a problem.
One of the most striking results is the world’s first ecological factory. Built in October 1992, it has a grass (sedum) roof extending over more than 10,8002 feet. It received extensive press attention at the time, and draws more than a thousand visitors every year even now. (seriously how insanely cool is that!!)
Ecover has received awards and recognition on many occasions for its special contributions and achievements in the field of environmentally friendly, sustainable development. Among various recognition, perhaps the most prestigious was being named to the Global 500 Roll of Honour of the United Nations Environment Program, in 1993.
You go Ecover! They have virtually every cleaning product you need, from toilet cleaner and hand wash to Boat and car cleaners! Not to mention several other items car and boat wax, limescale remover and non-chlorine bleach liquid.
They sent me 3 products to review and I loved them all! I first tried their bathroom cleaner, and the scent is so light and clean, plus this stuff really does a great job! we have a big garden tub, it is white and can be pretty hard to clean up with out scrubbing. I sprayed it with a few squirts of the cleaner and wiped it clean away with my Skoy cloth. it was so shiny and pretty. Not to mention I didn’t have to let the bathroom air out for an hour before I was able to get in there and take a bath! Most bathroom cleaners have such horrible fumes. 
Then I tried their Grapefruit and Green Tea Dishwashing Liquid. It really cuts through grease and has a lovely scent. It is a nice big bottle too.
And lastly I have their handwash on my kitchen sink. The Hand Soap they sent me is Lavender and Aloe. It works great at washing away dirt from my hands and yet leaves them nice and soft.

I’d like to try the Ecover Automatic Dishwasher Soap. I accidentally clicked on United Kingdom instead of USA first and it was so cute, they called the product section “washing up”.
The Ecover soap doesn’t leave any chemical residue and doesn’t pollute like cleaners with phosphates.

Wow, terrific giveaway! I’d also like to try the Limescale Remover, for bath, shower, tiles, tubs and basins. I have been using CLR, but the odor is horrendous-it literally brings tears to my eyes, so I would love to try a natural, eco-friendly product instead.
