This was originally going to be Make it Monday but all the new contests took up my Monday so here it is on Thursday!
These are so simple and if you every feel like adding something else in, you really don’t have anything to lose so try it out!
I have a few recipes so i am going to give you the directions now the the ingredients at the bottom.
I use a metal pot filled about halfway with water, just enough to cover the bottom of a glass bowl i sit on top with water. The glass bowl I sit on top, fits neatly inside the metal pot so i can lift it out, but the bottom sits down in the water, so when the water gets hot it melts the oils and waxes. Think double boilers. Of course you can use a double boiler too. I like my glass.
Melt all carrier oils, honey beeswax, and butters over low heat. take off the burner, then add your essential oils (if you choose to add flavor now is the time as well 3-6 drops) Stir until well blended. and pour into containers. I think the easiest way to do this is to use those tiny cone cups that come with drinking fountains, just cut off the end and pour through, as a funnel and then you can throw out.
Essential oils to use:
Peppermint
Spearmint
Orange
Grapefruit
Rose oil
Lavender
You get the picture, anything you love you can use!

Very, very cool. SO glad I’m not the only one who needs relief. These are amazing suggestions.
You have the best blogs. I love the lip ice. I use it endlessly and wondered what was in it. Thanks.
That’s a great idea!
