This is a really great time to make this and to learn how to make this, everything is stuffy! I feel stuffy, from being cooped up with over 12 inches of snow! and even though it was warm yesterday everything is sludgy and muddy!
I actually have 2 recipes for you here one to disinfect and one to refresh the air and fabrics!
I love to use the disinfecting one for all the areas my dogs go. (i have two in case you haven’t read about them yet) I use it on the door mat where that walk in from being outside and since it safe I use it on a towel and wipe their paws! I don’t saturate but I do use it.
Ok the recipe.
1 1/2 cups of vinegar.
20 drops of tea tree oil
shake and let sit for a 24 hours, shaking 4-5 times.
fill the rest of a 20 ounce bottle with distilled water. it is ready to go!!!
I use this on light switches, door knobs, sink handles, COMPUTERS etc. I love this. Some people don’t like the smell of vinegar much but the smell disappears fast, as quick as it dries! Now keep in mind this is just like any other disinfectant, you do not want to go around and dry it up with a cloth, you want to let it dry!!!
Ok so onto the next recipe!
For the fabric Refresher and room spray:
1/2 cup of vinegar or 1/4 cup of vodka
20 drops of any essential oil of your choosing (some are stronger then others so you may end up changing this amount later on)
shake this and let this sit for 24 hours, shaking every 4-5 times
fill the rest of the 20 oz bottle with distilled water
Enjoy!!!

I will take mine with High Fructose and Mercury Please!

wow, can I just say scary! I read about this on a forum and when I saw all the links and kept reading all the articles I just knew I had to share them with you.
First go and check this table out. The First 17 items listed were found to have Mercury in them. Any amount of mercury is too much. Mercury is a poison, this is why physicians limit the amount of fish pregnant women are able to consume during pregnancy!
This table doesn’t list all the products that have contaminated HFCS. These were just a few items tested. It is recommended to start staying away from all items. Yes this will be a pain, but we really need to send a CLEAR message to the government and the FDA, don’t you think it is time?
Taken from one of the articles this is one of the ways high fructose corn syrup gets mercury added to it in the first place, “In making HFCS — that “natural†sweetener, as the Corn Refiners Associaton likes to call it — caustic soda is one ingredient used to separate corn starch from the
corn kernel. Apparently most caustic soda for years has been produced
in industrial chlorine (chlor-alkali) plants, where it can be
contaminated with mercury that it passes on to the HFCS, and then to
consumers.”
Read more here, here, and here.
We all know that the FDA is corrupt. At least I hope you realize this. I won’t get into the politics behind it all but so much of the budget has been cut, that they barely have enough to function on. NOT that that is an excuse!
Further more, HFCS is bad for you even in just the the fact that it is a sugar and poor for your diet anyway. So please think about this the next time you hand your kid a snack, or grab your Yoplait yogurt or Coke.
